Governor of Montana from 1921-1925. Byron and Bud funded and built the Ellen Theatre in Bozeman to honor their mother. Vintage 4x6 in. Cabinet card.

Description: James (Yankee Jim) George (1835-1924). In 1873, began operating the National Park Toll Road for travelers from the north going to Yellowstone National Park. In 1883, the railroad took it over. The canyon, just north of Gardiner, is named Yankee Jim Canyon. Vintage 4x5 in. print taken with a Kodak No. 1 camera.
