Thomas (1869-1921) and Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Lockhart Michener (1867-1950) with their 4 children and 2 dogs: Margaret Alice (1899-1995), Charles (1902-1989), Ora Josephine (1903-1999), and Helen Louise (1910-2000). Tom Michener ranch became the Michener Camp, one of the first dude ranches in the area, located where the Ophir Creek School is in Big Sky, Montana. It was next to the Crail Ranch which eventually became Big Sky . Vintage 8.5x7 in. copy print.

Description: Tourists and stage coach in front of a W. W. Wylie camp in Yellowstone National Park. William W. Wylie (1848-1930) gave lecture tours in the Park in 1882 and established tent camps to house the tourists. He ran the camp until 1905. Mr. Clark of B Bar K Ranch, Big Sky, is next to the mules. Arthur W. Miles (1859-1933) is the man, front left, in front of the coach. Miles and his partner Colonel Babcock began their firm, Babcock & Miles, in Bozeman and Miles eventually had a lumber business near Livingston. Miles served 2 terms as mayor of Livingston and later was a state senator for Park County. In 1909, Miles was Lt Governor for Montana. Vintage 10x8 in. print.
